Had a lie in and completely missed breakfast, lazy trouts. Left Mel snoozing and went for a walk to explore…Ao Nang is lovely but the weather has been frankly, disappointing since Chiang Mai, no blue skies or sun….just overcast with the odd shower mixed in.

Walked a couple of miles to the extreme east of the coastline of Ao Nang and sampled a Chang with a view. Then wandered up the road to a random restaurant as there was a pizza offer on…169 Baht for any pizza on the menu… naturally I had the seafood one as it represented the most bang for your buck. This was washed down with a Chang. All in about 7 quid so mustn’t grumble.

I then frequented another rooftop bar to people watch and listen to podcasts…just finished up Joe Rogan with Quentin Tarantino, an excellent listen. Had a stroll on the beach and then then headed north up the main Ao Nang stretch.

Found a fantastic little cocktail bar with happy hour (that lasted all day) with cocktails at 100 baht each - about £2.39. Had a couple of Cuba Libres whilst listening to music and watching the world go by. I then moved on to another cafe with a similar deal, so naturally, I tested it out.

Had another cocktail at a pop up bar on the street and Met sleepy Mel at the same curry house as last night! Tandoori Knight - Mel had Dopiaza and I had the same as last night. Both were gorgeous! Headed home, bed at 10:30pm.
