Hello, we’re Danny & Mel

We’re a couple in our mid-40s from the UK with a shared obsession: travel. We’ve been together for years, and somewhere along the way we realised that the thing we most wanted to spend our time and money on was seeing more of this world.

So that’s what we do.

This blog is a record of our adventures — the big trips and the small ones, the smooth journeys and the chaotic ones. We write about where we went, what we ate, where we stayed, what surprised us, and what we’d do differently next time.

We’re not professional travellers or influencers. We book our own trips, pay our own way, and write about things honestly. If something was brilliant, we’ll say so. If it was a disaster, we’ll say that too.
