[Croatia 2025]
Croatia 2025 - Day 10
Had breakfast with a storm all around us and pelting rain. Finished up and left Mel to pack whilst I drove to Sixt Sibenik to return the car - filled up with petrol en route (about 40 euros brimmed it), youtubed how to reset the tyre pressure light and pushed together the number plate bracket where I had curbed it. All returned with no issues thankfully. Uber back to Vodice and met Mel for a coffee, then the heavens opened so dived in a bar for another coffee and an iced tea. Mel had migraine so went off to the room to sleep it off. I had a wander to try some different beers! Started with a Tomislav dark - around 7.3% ABV! Then tried a few pale ales and all was going swimmingly until a huge gust of wind blew over the menu in front of me which then caused a domino effect to knock my entire glass of beer all over my shorts giving the impression that I had wet myself. Classy. Had a Mexican chicken pastry and went into the 90mph harbour wind to dry off. Went to a corner cafe for a beer and then back to the room to get ready. Headed for a quick beer and then early dinner around 7 pm at Burrata pizzeria - I had a spicy pizza and Mel had a spaghetti carbonara. My pizza was divine. Unfortunately, Mel’s was really naff and WAY too salty. She left most of it. Mel had a final ice cream of the holiday on the way home, and we were tucked up in bed ready for the early start of the journey home tomorrow.
