Bolt for short 15 minute journey to airport at 7:15am - arrived within 2 mins - Bolt has been amazing throughout this trip, so cheap and efficient, this trip was about £1.50 for example. Spent our final 500 baht on coffee and croissants and some other tat like water. Really not looking forward to the length of these flights literally back to back with a 1 hr layover in Dubai - about 15 hrs in total. Mel REALLY REALLY not looking forward to it. But needs must. First flight plenty of low level turbulence with nothing major, Mel head in hands for most of the journey. Ran through Dubai customs etc. and arrived as flight was boarding - second flight much calmer thankfully - watched Back to Black and Interstellar to pass the time and a few beers. Food very good on both flights. Arrived Manchester about 6:45pm, train was at 7:15 - needed have worried - it was cancelled. The UK is a disgrace in every aspect. Had to book and pay for another to Manchester Piccadilly and then another 20 quid to Kidsgrove. Splitmyfare wouldn’t refund me for the cancelled train as they said I had used it! Tw@ts. Arrived in Kidsgrove at about 20:30, Uber to home and sleep. The End.
